Leena talks about his musical Journey
Leena the vocalist is a South African vocalist from Lusikisiki (Eastern Cape) but is currently situated in Kwamadlala (Port Shepstone).
The vocalist has been in the industry for over three years now. Leena explained what motivated him into doing music, “I find doing music as the easiest way for me to pass on nor deliver my message to the people.” He proceeded saying he writes about things that people can relate to, as well as his own feelings.
In the three years that Leena has been in the industry, he has learnt quite a few things. “I have learnt that things are not as easy as one may think they are. I mean, it’s not easy to succeed but also one mustn’t loose hope hence why I also should keep on pushing” he said.
Leena is currently an independent artist, not signed under any record label. He has worked with several artists in his musical journey including the likes of BBGunz Gunner, Masiano, Anne’tania, Mr Dolla Beats, Master Boo, Tazet and Young Master to name a few.
The song SABELA, is currently the artist’s best song thus far. The single has made rounds on radio stations and was nominated in SAUMAs (South African Upcoming Musicians Awards).
