Exclusive Interview with Time To Act

Time To Act is a multi-generational project by 4 Belgian and Italian dudes (Manu, Chloé, Matteo and Giuliano) that produce protest songs.

Time To Act is not a band but a project by and for the citizens of this world whom are concerned about the social issues that are currently affecting and will continue affecting our future generation should we fail to take a stand and act now. The project consist of three generations with different backgrounds and the willingness to use their common passion of music as a way to express their concerns and fears.

"Hope" was was the very first single released by Time To Act and was released on the 18th of September 2020. "Our first single tackled, in no uncertain terms, sickening issues like racism, facism that we feel are deviously sneaking into the normality of our lives", they stated.

The multi-generational project producing protest songs uses the pop and radio format in order to reach the largest audience possible. Time to Act is not a political movement, for they reckon that expressing concerns about climate change, pollution, racism and deformation is not a political act but rather common sense.

The second single released by Time To Act is titled "30 In 2050" on the 18th of December 2020 through Freaksville Records. The song attempts to describe the chilling prospect of what life might be in 2050 using thought-provoking lyrics:

"I am 30 in 2050 It all happened faster than they thought I am 30 in 2050 10 billion humans left the earth bleeding What the hell did you do to us?

No more crossing the Atlantic Air too wild and sea wilder Ice melted full Titanic Sea level now meters higher 30 years back you had the chance"
