Exclusive Interview with ProMega
ProMega, the visionary artist's real name is Lungani. The artist came up with his stage name from his middle name "Ntuthuko" meaning Prosperity. ProMega was given his middle name by his late grandmother. "The name message behind the name itself is to Prosper(Pro) through God(Omega).
ProMega does conscious trap music in which he believes is the right genre for him to be able to express his thoughts and inspire the masses. He explained, "My music is meant to touch the soul of any dreamer out there as the main message revolves around positivity and upliftment."
ProMega has been doing music for over 10 years now and on his journey he has leant to be a better lyricist and also to see music as a business. "I believe that my music has improved over the years due to the drive and inspiration from within. Regarding the music industry, I have learnt to see music as a business to the that I have managed with the industry organizations like SAMRO and RISA" he stated.
The artist hasn't had many performances in his career yet but has performed in places like uMlazi (J section) and KwaMashu (L section). Not only the artist hasn't had many performance but he also expressed that this was his very first interview and would appreciate it if people followed him on his social media platforms and continue supporting his music.
